New Deco Penthouse

A penthouse, winding like a labyrinth with a wide variety of functions and furnished in a classical style: this was the starting point for the redesign into a light-flooded, open and highly exclusive urban domicile.

Divided into two areas, the open 200sqm living area represents the identity of the client. The kitchen block, clad in black natural stone, floats in the room and, together with the adjoining bar, forms the penthouse’s optical highlight. Individual built-in furniture, high-quality materials and extravagant lighting complete the exclusive look and ensure a lasting impression on the guests. No less attention was paid to the private area of the flat, which is deliberately separated from the public living area: here, too, noble and warm materials are used, conveying a feeling of security and quality. The excitingly arranged floor plan reacts cleverly to the unchanging conditions of the existing building and unites all uses in a compact way.

“For the design of his city domicile, the client came to us with a large but an- gular penthouse that was to be redesigned according to his personality. Spacious and dynamic, bright and exclusive were the key- words. New Deco meets modern – in the heart of Munich.”
